Tom is a Cinematographer with an instinctive eye and a knack for blending documentary techniques with a distinctly cinematic aesthetic. He currently shoots documentaries, films, and 2nd Unit for TV drama.

He is comfortable working outdoors, up hills, in forests, in rain, dangling from ropes, on boats, upside down, long takes, abroad and in pain in the arse conditions. He knows how to make good use of a 300mm lens at sunset in an extravagant location.

Film and drama work includes 2nd Unit DoP and B cam roles for Netflix and Paramount+ shows ('Chemistry of Death' dop Tim Sidell BSC, 'The Innocents' dop David Procter BSC). Tom has shot feature length and short films winning Best Cinematography and making the BAFTA longlist along the way.

Documentaries and doc series for Netflix, Disney+ and HBO include Emmy nominated The Art of Political Murder and Netflix feature documentary soon come, as they say.

His fundamental understanding of light makes Tom at home in the studio working with advertising clients such as Rimowa, or Louis Vuitton.

Directors Tom works with include Ryan Hopkinson, Ben Falk, Kano, Richard Hunter, Austin Reza, Austen Humphries - as 2nd Unit DoP:- Darius Marder, Richard Clark, George Belfield.

London based, works worldwide.
